    • The end is near - Ferrari is building an SUV, Project F16X

It probably is not as shocking as it once would have been. Porsche has an SUV, Lamborghini has one coming, Bentley has one, hell, it feels like Ferrari is the only company without one.

That is set to change with Ferrari's project F16X. The Ferrari crossover is expected in 2021.

Ferrari already set the stage for an all wheel drive SUV with the FF. As you recall, that was a four-seat and four wheel drive Ferrari. This model then evolved to the GT4Lusso all wheel drive hatchback.

It is almost certain the F16X will get a twin turbo V8 derivative. When it goes on sale, how much it costs, and further details will have to come. For now, this is all mostly speculation and do not expect it to look anything like CAR's terrible rendering.

As long as it's better looking than the FF, why not.

It can help them finance their fantastic sports cars, similar to what Porsche has been doing for more than 10 years.

True but it just feels so wrong. They have FIAT and all that other cheap crap to finance things.

        I agree.

But that's just the problem, it's cheap crap. You make so much more benefits with a high-priced SUV than with dozens of Fiats. And with Porsche and Lamborghini in the market, it's clear there are buyers for this type of car.
