      With Ferrari you can not just believe their claims or the results presented by magazines. You have to go buy independent numbers from tuners and owners to really know how the car performs. The 488 Pista by all accounts seems to be a massive step up from the standard 488.


      Last month we saw a Pista top 140 miles per hour of trap speed in the 1/4 mile stock. If that number was achieved in the hands of a magazine, we would not believe it.

      Now here are some 100-200 kph (kilometer per hour) times from Jimmy Pelka of PP-Performance.

      Let's look at the stock sprint:


      Now the ECU tuned time:


      Dropping from 5.71 to 5.06 at this level with software only is impressive. Not only that, a 5.71 stock 100-200 time is definitely quick.
