    • Man swaps rotary engine into his Ferrari 456 and Ferrari gets lawyers involved to stop it

It is getting really hard to love Ferrari. The cheating and insane testing policies are one thing but having your attorneys send cease and desist letters to guys playing with their cars in a way Ferrari doesn't like? That's insane.

If this 456 owner wants to chuck the V12, that's his business. He paid for it. He can swap in a Prius driveline for all it matters as the car does not belong to Ferrari and they do not get to tell the owner what he can do with it.

The owner of the car, Reuben Bemrose, seems to be taking it in stride:

Obviously they are quite protective of their image, and their brand which I completely understand. Iíve just taken their iconic V-12 out of it and put an iconic New Zealand motor in it. Dear Ferrari, I'm so very sorry, I didn't mean to belittle your brand. Can't you see I just want to be friends?
He does not believe Ferrari has any legal grounds here so he keeps showing off the car and entering shows.

After Ferrari sees this they may get even more angry:

You do you Reuben, you do you.
